1. Tighten the screw
Mainly used for penetration between thin metal sheets. Its thread is an ordinary triangular thread with a circular arc, and the thread surface also has a high hardness. Therefore, during the penetration process, the screw can also tap the internal thread in the threaded bottom hole of the connected part, thereby forming a tightening effect.
This screw has the characteristics of low tightening torque and high locking instinct, which is superior to common through-wall screws and has replaced machine nails.
For fastening between gypsum wallboard and metal joists. The thread is a double-ended thread, and the thread surface also has a high hardness, which can be quickly screwed into the keel without drilling a prefabricated hole, thereby forming a fastening effect.
3. Self-drilling drywall nails
Different from ordinary drywall nails, ordinary drywall nails go through two processes: drilling (drilling bottom holes) and tapping (including tightening and connecting); while self-drilling drywall nails are connected, drilling and The two processes of tapping will be completed at one time. It uses the drill bit in front of the screw to drill first, and then uses the screw to tap (including tightening and connecting), which saves construction time and improves the force application.
4. Pan and Hex Head Drywall Screws
Practical where the drill bit is exposed, hex head drywall screws have more torque than pan head drywall screws.
Countersunk and Hexagonal drywall nails are suitable for places where the nail head is not exposed. Hexagonal drywall nails can accept more torque than static head drywall nails.
